We are seeking a strategic and analytical Head of Business Analytics to lead our BA team remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business insights, optimizing processes, and providing data-driven recommendations to support our growth and innovation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including the Product, Engineering, Customer success, and Operations teams, to ensure alignment and execution of business strategies. This role requires a hands-on approach, where you will be actively involved in the analysis and implementation of business solutions.

You will report to the VP of Product here at Sauce!

What You'll Do

• Lead and manage the Business Analytics team, providing mentorship and fostering a collaborative environment
• Develop and implement comprehensive business analysis frameworks and methodologies
• Take a hands-on approach to analyze complex business problems and provide actionable insights to senior leadership
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor business performance
• Support product development by providing data-driven recommendations and validating product features
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track business metrics and performance
• Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical teams to ensure alignment and clarity
• Continuously improve and refine business processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  
  
  
  
  

What You Bring:

• 5+ years of proven experience in a business analyst role, preferably within the food delivery tech/restaurant tech/B2C e-commerce industries
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau, etc.)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
• Demonstrated leadership experience with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Data Science, or a related field
