About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and TABC (Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission) Certified Bartender to join our team. As a TABC Certified Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in accordance with established recipes and quality standards. Your role will also involve ensuring compliance with TABC regulations and maintaining a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for patrons. This is a part-time role.

  • Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, and wine, in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, engaging with patrons, and ensuring a positive and friendly atmosphere.
  • TABC Compliance: Adhere to TABC regulations and guidelines for the responsible service of alcohol. Verify the age of customers before serving alcoholic beverages and refuse service to underage or intoxicated individuals.
  • Order Management: Efficiently manage drink orders and maintain a well-organized bar area. Keep track of inventory levels and replenish supplies as needed.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain cleanliness and order in the bar area, including washing glassware, utensils, and bar equipment. Follow sanitation and hygiene standards to ensure a safe environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other staff members, including servers and kitchen staff, to ensure smooth operations and timely service to customers.
  • Upselling: Suggest and upsell additional beverages or menu items to enhance the overall customer experience and contribute to sales goals.
  • Problem Resolution: Handle customer complaints or issues with professionalism and take appropriate action to resolve problems.
  • Cash Handling: Accurately process payments, handle cash, and provide correct change. Keep track of tabs and ensure accurate billing.
  • Knowledge of Drinks: Stay informed about current beverage trends, ingredients, and recipes. Be able to make recommendations to customers based on their preferences.
