About the role:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with an eagerness to learn to join our marketing team as a Partnership Marketing Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for helping manage and grow the Affiliate Programs for both Outdoorsy and Roamly in addition to working closely with the Head of Partnerships to support launching new partnership-oriented growth initiatives. You will leverage your knowledge and learnings of digital marketing channels to identify, close, manage and nurture partnerships that will drive net new growth for the Outdoorsy and Roamly brands.

Your work at Outdoorsy:

Affiliate Marketing Management:

  • Work with the Head of Partnerships to identify opportunities for growth and optimization with the existing base of Affiliate Partnerships and Offers.
  • Create partner-facing content, like quarterly newsletters, to keep partners informed and more engaged with the Affiliate Programs.
  • Identify new verticals or partner channels for growth, identify prospects and build a pipeline to close and onboard net new affiliate partnerships.
  • Vet inbound applications to the Affiliate Programs and manage time effectively to onboard and nurture partnerships with the highest growth potential.
  • Become an expert on our Affiliate Platforms (Tune and AvantLink), and support partners with requests related to campaign tracking, utilizing reporting tools, and general marketing strategy and optimization.

Reporting and Analytics:

  • Gain a deep understanding of the metrics and KPIs that drive growth for Partnership Marketing channels.
  • Help create external-facing reports for Affiliate Partners in Tune and AvantLink. Also identify additional reporting features and views that would be good for internal teams using Tableau to view Affiliate/Partner performance
  • Provide ad-hoc and custom reports for partners with custom needs/asks leveraging Tune and Tableau.

DTC Digital Marketing Expertise:

  • Shadow Outdoorsy and Roamly channel managers to become well-versed and knowledgeable on all DTC digital channels as it relates to Outdoorsy and Roamly
  • Gain an in-depth understanding of how Paid Search, Paid Social, Organic Search and Lifecycle Marketing strategy is applicable to how you manage your affiliate partners
  • Leverage your DTC Digital Marketing knowledge to advise and optimize marketing campaigns for your affiliate partners in scheduled strategy sessions.

Outdoorsy and Roamly Partnership Tools:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the following products so that you’re able to provide basic-level support for partners using the following Partner Tools:
    • Outdoorsy API Tools (REST API, Partner InstaSearch Widget)
    • Roamly Quoting API
    • Roamly Policy Management System

Support other Key Partnership Initiatives:

  • Work closely with the Head of Partnerships to offer support in other key partner initiatives, such as:
    • Embedded RV Insurance integrations with RV Dealerships
    • Agency and Brokerage Appointments for Roamly
    • Launching partnership programs for new products such as Outdoorsy Stays and the Outdoorsy Destination Network

Competitive Analysis:

  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitors' marketing strategies.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for staying ahead in the marketplace.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with content, design, and development teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
