About the role:

Are you passionate about the great outdoors and eager to make a meaningful impact in the world of outdoor accommodations? We are seeking a Supply Generation Sales Associate to join our growing team. As a Supply Generation Associate, you will play the most crucial role in launching our newest Outdoorsy Marketplace product, “Stays.” For this role we are seeking candidates who are able to work in our Austin, TX Headquarters. This role is not eligible for remote-work.

Responsibilities:

  • Host Acquisition: Identify and engage potential hosts who have suitable outdoor spaces for accommodation listings. This involves both online research and outbound prospecting efforts.
  • Educate and Onboard Hosts: Clearly communicate the benefits of listing their outdoor spaces on our platform and guide hosts through the onboarding process.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing hosts. Understand their needs and provide ongoing support to ensure a positive hosting experience.
  • Market Insights: Stay informed about outdoor accommodation trends and competitors to provide valuable insights to the team.
  • Data Management: Accurately record and manage host information and interactions in our CRM system.
  • Feedback Loop: Gather feedback from hosts to help improve our platform and services continually.
  • Targets and Reporting: Meet or exceed monthly acquisition targets and provide regular reports on your progress.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for the Outdoors: An enthusiastic love for outdoor activities and accommodations.
  • Sales and Relationship Building Skills: Proven experience in sales or customer relationship management is a plus.
  • Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and address host concerns effectively.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with technology, CRM systems, and online tools.
  • Self-Motivated: Proactive, results-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • Team Player: Collaborative and able to work with cross-functional teams.

Salary: $36,000 base with $72,000 OTE

We continue to have our home and headquarters in Austin, Texas, but we have embraced a distributed model of working to reach the best talent in the United States and globally. While some roles may require proximity to our Austin office, roles based outside of our Austin office can sit in any of the following 21 US states: AR, AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, IN, MN, MO, MT, NV, OH, OK, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA and WV.
