As we scale our profitable ecosystem of tools and services, we’re seeking a standout General Manager for Argentina to help lead the way — launching the market from cero! Building the team, signing initial clients and setting the strategy. In this position you will report directly to the CEO and work closely with the COO, and the company's executive team.

Zubale is a technology company that enables retailers to win in eCommerce. We serve a wide range of retailers from supermarkets, specialty stores, pharmacies, department stores and fashion brands across Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Peru, Colombia and soon Argentina. 1) Flexifleet: Freelancer Marketplace to perform picking, packing, and delivery tasks for retailers and aggregators.
2) Fulfillment Optimizer: Modular Software to increase productivity in eCommerce picking, packing and delivery.
3) Consumer Connect: AI WhatsApp Conversational Commerce to boost sales and elevate customer experience.

The Role:
We’re looking for a high-performing General Manager (GM) for Argentina to launch, lead and scale Zubale’s operations in the country. This role is for a strong executor and operator — someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, has prior experience running operationally intensive businesses, and consistently delivers results through discipline and attention to detail. You must be both a strategic thinker and an operational doer, capable of managing large teams under high pressure while driving profitability and growth.
What You’ll Do:
- Launch and own Zubale Argentina from zero, with full P&L responsibility across operations, sales, client success, HR, finance, and support functions
- Lead market entry from the ground up, including legal setup, regulatory compliance, initial hiring, vendor selection, and operational readiness
- Build, hire, and coach a high-performance local leadership team, instilling a strong execution, accountability, and ownership culture from day one
- Design and execute the go-to-market strategy, securing anchor clients and building early commercial traction in Argentina
- Establish scalable operations and financial discipline early, ensuring strong unit economics, cost control, and cash-flow awareness from launch
- Define and implement core processes, KPIs, and operating rhythms, aligned with Zubale’s global standards while adapted to local market realities
- Drive revenue growth while balancing speed and sustainability, prioritizing product-market fit, service quality, and long-term profitability
- Partner closely with the COO, CPO, and regional leadership, translating global strategy into a successful local execution plan
- Build trusted relationships with key clients, partners, and ecosystem players, positioning Zubale as a category leader in Argentina
- Serve as the public face of Zubale in Argentina, representing the company with customers, partners, regulators, and strategic stakeholders
What We’re Looking For:
Required:
- Proven 10+ years of experience in operations-heavy businesses (e.g., logistics, retail, last mile delivery, staffing, startups)
- Prior P&L ownership or country manager/general management experience
- Proven track record of leading large teams and executing in complex, fast-paced, high pressure environments
- Strong financial acumen — experienced managing budgets, analyzing performance metrics, and making data-driven decisions
- Obsessed with operational excellence, detail orientation, and continuous improvement
- Clear communicator and disciplined leader with a hands-on approach
- Fluent in Spanish and English (required)
Preferred:
- Background in high-growth startups or scaling businesses
- Prior experience working with tech-enabled services
- Management consulting experience
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree
