In this position you will report directly to the COO and work closely with the CEO, and the company's executive team.

Zubale is a technology company that enables retailers to win in eCommerce. We serve a wide range of retailers from supermarkets, specialty stores, pharmacies, department stores and fashion brands across Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Peru and Colombia. How? We have three key products:

1) Flexifleet: Freelancer Marketplace to perform picking, packing, and delivery tasks for retailers and aggregators.

2) Fulfillment Optimizer: Modular Software to increase productivity in eCommerce picking, packing and delivery.

3) Consumer Connect: AI WhatsApp Conversational Commerce to boost sales and elevate customer experience.

The Role:

We’re looking for a high-performing General Manager (GM) for Chile to lead and scale Zubale’s operations in the country. This role is for a strong executor and operator — someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, has prior experience running operationally intensive businesses, and consistently delivers results through discipline and attention to detail. You must be both a strategic thinker and an operational doer, capable of managing large teams while driving profitability and growth.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own P&L and lead the full business in Chile: operations, sales, client success, HR, and support functions
  • Build, manage, and coach a high-performance local team focused on execution, accountability, and operational excellence
  • Ensure rigorous operational execution and financial discipline across all business units
  • Drive revenue growth while optimizing costs to maximize profitability and cash flow
  • Lead strategic planning and execution to expand our footprint and client base in Chile
  • Implement scalable processes, KPIs, and systems to improve productivity and service levels
  • Collaborate closely with the COO, CPO, CEO and regional leadership team to align local strategy with company-wide goals
  • Build strong client relationships, drive commercial excellence, and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Be the face of Zubale in Chile — represent the company with key clients, partners, and local stakeholders

What We’re Looking For:

Required:

  • 10+ years of experience in operations-heavy businesses (e.g., logistics, retail, last mile delivery, staffing, startups)
  • Prior P&L ownership or country manager/general management experience
  • Proven track record of leading large teams and executing in complex, fast-paced environments
  • Strong financial acumen — comfortable managing budgets, analyzing performance metrics, and making data-driven decisions
  • Obsessed with operational excellence, detail orientation, and continuous improvement
  • Clear communicator and disciplined leader with a hands-on approach
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (required)

Preferred:

  • Background in high-growth startups or scaling businesses
  • Prior experience working with tech-enabled services
  • Management consulting experience
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree
