As we scale our profitable ecosystem of tools and services, we’re seeking a standout Market Manager to help us take Costa Rica to the next level. In this position you will report directly to the Andino Director (Colombia, Costa Rica, Peru).

Zubale is a technology company that enables retailers to win in eCommerce. We serve a wide range of retailers from supermarkets, specialty stores, pharmacies, department stores and fashion brands across Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Peru and Colombia. How? We have three key products:

  1. Flexifleet: Freelancer Marketplace to perform picking, packing, and delivery tasks for retailers and aggregators.
  2. Fulfillment Optimizer: Modular Software to increase productivity in eCommerce picking, packing and delivery.
  3. Consumer Connect: AI WhatsApp Conversational Commerce to boost sales and elevate customer experience.

Who you are

You are a high-performing leader ready to own and scale a full market. You bring experience in operations, logistics, or marketplaces, combined with a sharp business mindset and strong leadership skills. You’re excited about growing our presence in Costa Rica and passionate about delivering operational excellence while managing high-level client relationships. You thrive in fast-paced environments and know how to turn strategy into execution.

What you will do

  1. Own the full P&L for Costa Rica, driving revenue growth, margin improvement, and cost efficiency
  2. Lead all operational aspects of the market: last-mile delivery, fulfillment, in-store execution
  3. Ensure outstanding customer success and manage senior client relationships
  4. Build and lead a high-performing local team across operations and support functions
  5. Design and implement operational playbooks and service-level agreements (SLAs)
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Tech, Finance, Legal, People) to scale effectively
  7. Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks through data-driven decision-making
  8. Ensure on-time delivery, order accuracy, and high service quality across channels
  9. Track and report key KPIs: NPS, unit economics, fill rate, delivery success

The skills and experience you will bring

  1. 5+ years of experience in Operations, Customer Success, Logistics, or Marketplace environments
  2. Prior experience managing a business unit or geography with full P&L accountability
  3. Proven ability to lead teams and develop strong client partnerships
  4. Analytical mindset with a bias for execution and results
  5. Experience in startups or high-growth companies is strongly preferred
  6. Fluency in Spanish required; English proficiency needed for internal collaboration
