We’re not just building software — we’re reshaping the future of hospitality. If you're ready to grow, make an impact, and be part of one of the most exciting journeys in travel tech, this is your moment.

Your Role

As a BI Engineer within our Data & Analytics team, you'll play a pivotal role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive Lighthouse's strategic objectives. Our central pillar manages millions of daily data points, leveraging state-of-the-art technologies to unlock new directions for internal processes and functions.

You'll be instrumental in building robust data solutions and reporting frameworks that support internal decision-making, enhance operational efficiency, and foster cross-departmental alignment. Your responsibilities will span:

  • Enhancing Data Usability: Optimizing data assets to empower stakeholders.
  • Supporting Leadership: Providing critical insights for data-driven decisions.
  • Uncovering Insights: Analyzing customer commercial behavior to shape strategies.
  • Developing Definitions & KPIs: Collaborating with teams to create strategic metrics.
  • Ensuring Data Reliability: Maintaining data integrity during due diligence and M&A projects.

Working in close collaboration with the Internal Data Warehousing Team and cross-functional teams like Customer Success, Sales, Product, and Finance, you'll use data to uncover trends, streamline workflows, and improve service delivery and quality. This unique opportunity places you at the intersection of data engineering and business operations, allowing you to make a tangible impact on company performance.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL workflows that feed into key operational dashboards.
  • Design and optimize data models to measure KPIs across teams (e.g., activation time, case resolution, upsell pipeline, product usage).
  • Build automated reports and visualizations to support day-to-day decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Partner with Operations leadership to identify opportunities to automate and improve internal workflows using data.
  • Support Customer Success and Sales teams with ad hoc analysis, helping them make informed, data-backed decisions.
  • Maintain data quality, ensure consistency across sources, and document reporting standards.
  • Serve as the go-to person for operational analytics and insights across the organization.

What We're Looking For

  • 2–4 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, or Analytics—ideally in SaaS, tech, or fast-paced service environments.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience working with large-scale datasets.
  • Hands-on experience with BI/visualization tools such as Looker, Retool, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Familiarity with ETL tools and data pipeline orchestration (e.g., Airflow, dbt, Fivetran).
  • Strong understanding of business processes, especially in areas like customer onboarding, support, and account management.
  • Bonus: Experience with Python, BigQuery, Tinybird or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong analytical thinking and a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain data to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A proactive attitude and desire to improve internal systems and processes.

Why You’ll Love Working with Us

  • Competitive salary and benefits.
  • International environment with over 35 nationalities.
  • Flexible remote-first work culture with the option to work from our beautiful HQ in Barcelona.
  • Be part of a high-impact role directly shaping the way teams operate and scale.
  • Continuous learning budget, internal mobility opportunities, and career development support.
  • Healthy work life balance with flexible working hours and a remote-friendly work policy.
  • "Flexible compensation plan” with Ticket Restaurant, Ticket Transport, Medical Insurance and Bonus for Nursery.
  • Access to language courses through Preply.
  • Salary management through Payflow.
  • Exclusive discounts at hotels all around the world.

We’re looking for someone curious, analytical, and excited to make a real difference through data. If that sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!
