The Role

We’re hiring an AI Forward Deployed Engineer to work at the intersection of applied AI, business operations, and execution. This role is about taking AI out of theory and into production — directly inside our portfolio companies and business units.

You’ll work closely with operators, product leaders, and our central AI team to identify high impact opportunities, deploy AI-powered solutions end to end, and ensure they deliver real business results.

What you’ll do

• Work directly with our portfolio companies and business units to identify high-impact opportunities where AI can solve bottlenecks and unlock growth and profitability.
• Implement AI-powered solutions, such as internal agents, copilots, and automation workflows, directly within portfolio companies and business units to solve operational challenges end to end.
• Work with our team of AI Software Engineers to build and improve internal AI-powered solutions that solve real operational problems end to end.
• Measure and optimize solution performance using business and technical metrics to ensure ROI and business results (task success rate, latency, cost, adoption, ROI).
• Act as a bridge between the central AI team and business units / portfolio companies, contributing learnings back into shared tooling, patterns, and best practices.

What you bring

• 2–5+ years of experience in AI Implementation & Solutions Engineering, AI Consulting or AI Product Management (flexible up to ~6 years for strong profiles).
• Hands-on experience working with LLMs and AI systems, including prompt engineering, RAG, tool invocation, and agentic frameworks.
• Experience deploying AI solutions into real-world environments with reliability, monitoring, and iteration based on user feedback.
• Deep and solid understanding of LLM mechanics, use-cases, tradeoffs between speed, accuracy, cost, and maintainability in applied AI systems.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and influence decision-making.

Nice to have

• Exposure to business metrics, operational KPIs, cost drivers, and basic P&L dynamics in digital or software businesses.
• Ability to reason about AI solutions not just technically, but in terms of ROI, efficiency gains, and operational impact.
