We’re looking for a Senior Content & Social Media Manager to join our marketing team and own the end-to-end strategy and execution of our content marketing and social media efforts. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, understands technical audiences (especially developers and DevOps engineers), and knows how to craft compelling content that drives engagement and pipeline.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Develop and execute a content strategy that positions ScaleOps as a thought leader in Kubernetes, platform engineering, and cloud cost optimization.
  • Write, edit, coordinate, and publish high-quality content, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, newsletters, and website copy.
  • Own social media strategy and execution across LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Reddit, and other relevant platforms to increase engagement and brand awareness.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, engineers, and customers to produce technical and compelling content.
  • Manage the company’s content calendar, ensuring a consistent cadence of high-impact content aligned with marketing and business objectives.
  • Optimize content for SEO to improve organic traffic and rankings.
  • Monitor and analyze content performance, using insights to refine strategy and maximize impact.
  • Support demand generation campaigns with content tailored for paid ads, email marketing, and nurture programs.
  • Stay on top of industry trends and emerging topics in cloud-native, Kubernetes, and DevOps to ensure our content remains relevant and ahead of the curve.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in content marketing, social media, or related roles, ideally in a B2B tech company targeting developers.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
  • Hands-on experience managing social media accounts, growing engagement, and driving conversations.
  • A strategic mindset—ability to connect content efforts to business goals.
  • Deep understanding of SEO best practices and keyword optimization.
  • Experience working with Google Analytics, social media analytics, and content performance tools.
  • A proactive, independent, and creative approach to content creation.
  • Major Bonus: Familiarity with Kubernetes, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or FinOps topics.
