Two years as a solution-engineer / sales-engineer
Six years as a hands-on software engineer
• Working at developer tools companies/product
• Experience with open-source projects
Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to understand complex customer requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Additional languages are an advantage
Proven ability to deliver compelling product demonstrations and workshops to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Training and enabling the sales team on the topics of product, technology, and competitive positioning
Passionate about developer tools, software development, and software engineering
What you'll do
As a Solution Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the technical aspects of customer-facing engagements. You will play a crucial role in driving sales and helping our customers understand the value and capabilities of our product. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, an understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), excellent communication skills, and the ability to demonstrate our offerings to potential clients effectively.
Lead product demos and presentations
Provide input on the implementation of the platform to end-users
Provide technical guidance and client recommendations regarding system integrations, APIs, and data flow.
Develop custom demos using our frontend and backend APIs that showcase the power of our platform
Working closely with R&D and Marketing teams to help them understand customer needs
Your superb communication abilities combined with your specialized technical skills will be vital in signing new deals, so you’ll have a direct impact on our bottom line
