The opportunity for you:

This role offers a unique opportunity for seasoned professionals to lead and execute complex Accounts Receivable operations. You will be entrusted with customized accounts that demand a heightened level of expertise and precision. As a key member of the Finance Team, you will be responsible for managing intricate financial tasks and supporting our mission to modernize the freight forwarding industry.

What you'll do in a typical week:

  • Manage the Invoicing and Re-invoicing processes, including the creation and issuance of invoices to customers, adhering to each client's SOP. This extends to overseeing invoices directed to Associates' clients.
  • Oversee the Invoice Confirmation stage, handle confirmation receipts within client portfolios, and issue payment supplements when applicable.
  • Conduct payment tracking, monitor customer payments, and expertly navigate through complex scenarios to ensure timely receipt and resolution.
  • Address incidents involving higher complexity, serving as the initial point of escalation for Analysts and navigating escalation pathways for substantial client issues.
  • Provide management with regular updates on the status of outstanding payments and overall AR performance.
  • Monitor and analyze accounts receivable aging, identifying delinquent accounts, and taking necessary actions to resolve issues.
  • Undertake analysis and prepare reports encompassing accounts receivable aging, cash flow forecasting, and other pertinent financial metrics.
  • Communicate with customers, promptly responding to inquiries and resolving issues concerning invoicing and payment.
  • Participate in onboarding and implementation calls with clients, collaborating to map out processes and requirements, and contributing to the comprehensive documentation of SOP and COP.
  • Acquire, apply, and adeptly adhere to area policies and processes, demonstrating enhanced domain and technical knowledge.
  • Participate in AR projects, executing assigned tasks and identifying process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in Accounts Receivable (AR) operations.

What you know:

  • 3+ years of experience in finance, with a strong focus on Accounts Receivable.
  • Bachelor's degree related to the finance field or Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems with a proven record in billing and accounts receivable analysis.
  • Proven expertise in meticulous financial management within policies and processes.
  • Effective communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • 2-3 years of experience in SQL, Excel, and visual reporting tools like Tableau.
