5-8 years of experience in business development roles within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries

B.A. / B.S. degree in biological sciences required. Advanced degree (MBA, PhD, PharmD) in business or scientific discipline preferred

Analytical approach, strong critical thinking, and decision-making skills

Deal making and negotiation experience with track record of leading transactions (e.g., partnership, collaboration, license, research agreements)

Broad knowledge of the pharmaceutical / biotech landscape, R&D trends, and market opportunities

Good understanding of the biotech/pharmaceutical business. Ability to navigate complex pharma organizations and drive transactions internally and externally

Attention to detail, adaptive and flexible to changing priorities. Loves to work in a fast-paced environment

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills

Ability to communicate scientific concepts and data. Scientific background with genetic medicine is an advantage
