Let’s Do This was launched in 2017. Our vision is to inspire more people to have epic experiences than any other community on the planet by the end of 2025. We want to be the online company that gets everyone offline. The first vertical we have focused on is mass participation sports events, where we are the global leader. It couldn't be a more exciting time to join Let's Do This, with the pandemic confirming what we have always known; experiences are better and more meaningful when done with others. The event space is roaring back and we are determined to help people engage with more epic experiences, and enhance those experiences further by enabling participation together.

We have raised $30M to date and were the fastest growing company on YCombinator, with a record 24 times over subscribed on our seed round. We have attracted investment from the likes of Usain Bolt and Serena Williams, as well as investment from Tier 1 VC’s such as NFX and YC.

We are at an exciting stage of our growth and are obsessed with building the most talented team in the world. We have an exceptional team with experience ranging from London’s fastest growing start-ups, to the world's biggest tech companies, such as Facebook, Google, Deliveroo, King and Skyscanner.

The Role

Reporting into the Director of Analytics and working closely with the Growth team. As a fast-moving start-up, speed and impact is the name of the game and you will get the opportunity to work across a broad range of problems with the ability to drive great impact. Some of the problems you will be working on include:

-Designing, setting up and analysing experiments that guides our product development
-Exploring how users make it to Let’s Do This, and how we optimise these paths
-Understanding customer acquisition, retention and frequency and how to maximise lifetime value
-Identifying customers segments within the customer base and how their behaviour differs
-Increasing the efficiency of our digital and offline marketing

The Team

You will be joining a growing team of Data Scientists and Data Engineers with backgrounds in companies like Deliveroo, King and Livi. Data Scientists sit embedded in cross-functional product teams with peers in Product Management, Engineering and Product Design owning a set of problems and products. An important aspect to solve these problems is using data to learn about users and deliver the optimal experience to them.

You
You have a strong inclination towards delivering impact and value through data. You are comfortable taking semi-structured problems and understanding how to best solve them. You above all value working as a team and succeeding together!

Requirements and Qualifications
-Bachelors’ or above in a quantitative discipline: (Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Physics etc.)
-A strong knowledge of SQL is mandatory and a working proficiency in a scripting language like R or Python is advantageous
-Understanding of statistical methods such as experimentation design, regression analysis, clustering, forecasting etc.
-Ability to communicate complex and esoteric data concepts to a wide audience, focusing on impact over methodology.
