Responsibilities

As our first engineering hire, you will lead the design and development of key algorithms and components in our architecture from scratch, helping to shape the core of our product's performance, scaleability and maintainability, and contribute extensively to our up-and-coming open-source projects.

Technical Qualifications

• Expertise in Python, with a meticulous approach to typing under strict-mode MyPy.
• Proficiency in SOLID and clean-code design principles and practices.
• Knowledge of language and framework internals with a passion for technical deep-dives.
• Bonus: A deep understanding of operating-system internals and familiarity with aspects of CPU architecture.

Experience & Other Qualifications

• Fearlessness in the face of any 3rd party or infrastructural code that needs to be debugged or evaluated.
• Highly driven, meticulous, and self-motivated, capable of leading, owning, and steering complex projects with precision and vision.
• Passion for solving problems in the cleanest, most efficient way possible.
