We are Darrow – a fast-growing, mission-driven LegalTech startup with a mission to uncover legal wrongdoing and secure justice for impacted parties. Founded in 2020 in Tel Aviv, Israel, Darrow is revolutionizing the justice system. Our team of world-class legal experts and technologists has built an intelligence platform that uncovers egregious violations across legal domains, such as privacy and data breaches, consumer protection, securities and financial fraud, environment, and employment.
We are looking for a talented and proactive Associate Counsel to support our go-to-market (GTM) teams. This role is essential to our commercial success, acting as the primary legal partner to our GTM teams and overseeing client-facing legal work, strategic long term deals, and our professional ethics compliance regime. Responsibilities:
- Lead the company’s full legal function, acting as the primary partner to GTM and leadership teams.
- Manage all litigation, commercial contracts, and external counsel to protect and advance business interests.
- Draft, review, and negotiate diverse commercial agreements with clients, partners, and vendors.
- Advise on strategic business initiatives, partnerships, and risk management.
- Build efficient legal processes, templates, and workflows to support commercial growth.
- Manage one in-house lawyer and oversee external advisers as needed.
Requirements
- Law degree from a top-tier institution.
- 10+ years of legal experience, combining:
- Law firm training in commercial or corporate law.
- In-house counsel experience supporting GTM, sales, or compliance at a tech, tech-enabled, or SaaS company.
- Proven ability to independently negotiate, structure, and close complex commercial agreements.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to align stakeholders and translate legal advice into clear, actionable guidance.
- Track record of developing and executing legal strategies that drive business goals.
- Highly organized self-starter with strong judgment and a practical, solution-oriented mindset.
- Collaborative, adaptable, and effective in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Darrow provides a reasonable range of compensation. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. The range of pay (base salary) for this role is $190,000 - $220,000.
