The Role
We are looking for a Collections Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with external collection agencies, lawyers, and accountants to understand the reasons behind collection notices, review documents, and investigate outstanding accounts to ensure accurate and timely resolution.
You will report directly to a Support Manager and play a critical role in maintaining smooth financial operations.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with external collections agencies to understand and resolve collection notices
- Analyze and review documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Investigate the reasons for overdue accounts and collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Legal) to resolve issues
- Track and report on collection cases, identifying patterns and opportunities for process improvement
- Work with customers, as needed, to gather additional information or resolve disputes
- Maintain clear and organized records of all investigations and communications
Requirements:
- High level of English is a must!
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working with external partners, including collection agencies, lawyers, and accountants, especially internationally
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Previous experience in fintech or with international clients is an advantage
