We are looking for an Information Systems Manager who will lead information systems and technology operations globally. This role is crucial in ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of our IT infrastructure while complying with global privacy regulations, including SOC2 and ISO27001 standards. As our Information Systems Manager, you will oversee all IT systems and drive the implementation of technological solutions that propel our business forward.

Reporting to the Head of Technology Operations, you will work closely with IT, security, legal, finance, business optimization, and business teams to achieve cohesive and effective outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the information systems frameworks for Candex globally, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and organizational goals.
  • Technically manage custom integrations between different systems using APIs and code, ensuring seamless communication and functionality across platforms.
  • Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of all IT systems and applications.
  • Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to enhance system integrity, data security, and compliance with international standards.
  • Gather requirements, design, implement, and maintain successful IT projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Manage end-user support, resolving issues across various platforms, providing robust troubleshooting and ensuring thorough documentation and training.
  • Administer cloud services, manage server architectures, and oversee software applications to ensure operational efficiency and security.
  • Develop and manage the IT budget, including procurement of software and negotiating with vendors to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
  • Manage all agreements with software vendors, ensuring compliance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Work closely with the business optimization team on new vendor request evaluation, reviewing, building, and approving business cases, and driving innovation.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on IT best practices and system usage.
  • Working closely with the data team for setting up data transfers, and BI analysis.
Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience in managing information systems, preferably in fintech or high-growth startup environments.
  • Strong proficiency in coding or scripting for managing custom integrations between systems.
  • Demonstrated experience with APIs, cloud services, and server architectures.
  • Familiarity with data security principles, compliance standards (such as SOC2, ISO27001), and IT policies.
  • Proven ability to manage projects, including gathering requirements, design, implementation, and maintenance within budget and on schedule.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering collaboration across various teams and organizational levels.
  • Experience in vendor management, including negotiating agreements and ensuring compliance.
  • Ability to provide scalable training and support to staff on IT best practices and system usage.
  • Familiarity with RBAC federated authentication protocols (SAML/OAuth/OpenID) and provisioning specs (SCIM) is a plus.
  • A positive, patient, and humble attitude with a focus on building strong relationships and fostering collaboration.
