Position Overview

Candex is seeking a Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to support our growth and expansion in multiple countries. You will be responsible for maintaining financial records and transactions, managing accounting software, invoices, and tax payments, overseeing bank reconciliations on a daily basis and cash disbursements. The position reports to the Treasury Operations Manager and will help support our payments across the globe.

Responsibilities

  • Recording transactions such as income and outgoings, and posting them to various accounts
  • Recording and processing payments
  • Conducting daily banking activities
  • Monthly tax reporting (VAT, withholding taxes, national insurance, income tax).
  • Working with external auditors, tax authorities and vendors worldwide
  • Reconciling reports to third-party records such as bank statements
  • Support month-end close for legal entities in multiple countries
  • Producing various financial reports

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of bookkeeping experience
  • Experience with the Netsuite ERP system and HighRadius
  • Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
  • Expertise with authorities reporting (VAT, WHT etc')
  • Fluent English skills – strong written and verbal
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with a wide range of financial transactions including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
