Position Overview

We’re hiring for a Solutions Architect who will be an evangelist for Candex solutions to Marketing business stakeholders at current and future Candex accounts.

Reporting to Senior Leadership within Customer Success, you will be a trusted advisor to worldwide customers, have a strong understanding of Marketing purchasing requirements and challenges, and identify and execute marketing tactics and product innovation in a high growth startup. In addition to your excellent English communication skills, you perhaps speak a second language!

The Solutions Architect works closely with customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction by identifying the intersection of business needs and Candex solutions. The Solutions Architect is responsible for identifying and engaging Marketing business stakeholders directly and via industry events, providing insights/hindsights/foresights relevant to their challenges, and identifying solutions and action plans which increase the adoption of Candex. In addition, you will provide feedback to the Candex Marketing and Product Development team to improve our communication and product offerings.

This role is remote based and can be located in the United States or Canada, within the CST and EST time zones.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and professionally engage Marketing business stakeholders at current and prospective customers
  • Discover key pain points which Candex could solve and would lead to action at the customer
  • Use your knowledge of Candex offerings to “show the dream” to the customer to drive action
  • Provide all necessary information for handoff to Account Lead and/or Programs Lead based on the solution required
  • Identify and partner with Candex Marketing to develop materials (presentations, white papers, messaging) and strategy (industry events, round tables, etc) to increase Candex awareness with Marketing business owners

Qualifications

You are passionate about enabling client Marketing teams to execute their plans by removing barriers associated with the engagement and payment of suppliers and individuals in the course of their business. You possess fantastic interpersonal skills and have strong leadership and influencing skills at all levels of an organization.

You have a proven ability to identify client needs and create a compelling story to connect the need with Candex solutions. You have also demonstrated the ability to build business cases to gain cross-functional support for decisions in matrix organizations.

You are an excellent communicator, both oral and written. You are capable of influencing clients to take action, while building relationships and establishing trust.

You are self-motivated and self-directed and have a history of identifying and executing continuous improvement opportunities.

Core skills

  • Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree preferred in areas such as Business, Marketing, or IT
  • Proven experience initiating and implementing change management projects
  • Strong presentation and influencing skills
  • Capable of extracting and presenting insights from both conversations and data
  • Willingness to initiate engagement with customers, including cold calls
  • Knowledge of key account sales practices such as stakeholder mapping
  • Technical aptitude and ability to learn software capabilities
  • Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint

These Additional Skills or Experience are a plus!

  • Knowledge and/or experience with Accounts Payable and Payment processes & software
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
  • Business fluent in a second language
