The Position:
The Senior Manager, Digital Experience Programs plays a critical role in organizing, optimizing, and centralizing digital project and program management within Veracyte's global digital ecosystem. This role ensures seamless project execution, efficient workflow management, clear documentation, and timely delivery of digital content and assets. Additionally, this role will co-lead the integration of AI and automation technologies to help scale our digital capabilities. The Manager collaborates closely with internal marketing leaders, content teams, agencies, and contractors to streamline digital requests and deliver high-quality, compliant, and engaging digital experiences for our customers and stakeholders globally.
Responsibilities:
Digital Program Management & Workflow Optimization
- Develop and implement a centralized digital intake process to manage website updates, social media requests, event webpages, blogs, and other digital content needs.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of workflows, processes, and project timelines.
- Establish clear prioritization criteria and manage resource allocation effectively across digital channels.
- Leverage project management tool – Asana – to track, assign, and monitor digital projects end-to-end.
Content & Channel Coordination
- Oversee daily management of website updates via WordPress CMS, ensuring content accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with technical site performance and SEO/AEO best practices.
- Act as the central point of contact with our web agency partner to coordinate tasks, deliverables/deadlines, meetings, etc.
- Coordinate with content creators, digital designers, and external vendors to deliver approved website updates efficiently.
Social Media & Digital Content Support
- Lead the implementation of a new social media management tool – Sprout Social.
- Onboard internal social content creators to new social management tool and develop training materials and process documentation.
- Manage social media content calendars, scheduling, posting, and performance tracking in social media management tool.
- Create derivative graphics, video content, and short-format videos leveraging AI tools and Canva while maintaining brand consistency and quality standards.
- Create a centralized and compliant internal review process for social media posts and graphics in Sprout Social.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather content, approvals, and assets.
- Generate regular reporting and explore automation opportunities to measure the impact and effectiveness of PR, Brand, and Social Media within Sprout Social.
AI Integration & Workflow Automation
- Identify and implement AI-powered integrations across the MarTech stack to automate complex digital workflows
- Connect workflow management applications (Asana, WordPress, Sprout Social) to create seamless, automated project execution.
- Develop pre-built workflows and automations that enable AI agents to execute pre-approved actions that include compliance and regulatory safeguards.
- Evaluate and pilot emerging AI technologies for potential implementation across digital operations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as the main point of contact for internal digital support requests, managing communication, expectations, and deliverables.
- Partners closely with Digital Experience leader to align workflows and ensure consistency across digital channels and projects.
- Support Digital Channel & KPI reporting across various analytics tools on a quarterly basis.
- Establish guidelines and train team members on AI content creation tools and best practices.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Proactively identify opportunities for workflow automation, process improvement, and digital best practices implementation.
- Maintain current knowledge of digital project management trends, MarTech tools, and best practices.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing, Project Management, Communications, Business, or related fields
- 10+ years of experience in digital project or program management, ideally within a digital agency, biotechnology, healthcare, or other regulated industries
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with AI tools and automation platforms.
Technical Expertise
- Content Management Systems: Advanced proficiency in WordPress CMS
- Project Management: Expert-level knowledge of Asana or equivalent platforms
- Social Media Tools: Proficiency in Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or similar platforms
- Analytics Platforms: Google Analytics GA4, Google Tag Manager, Microsoft Clarity, SEMrush
·AI & Automation Tools
- Experience with AI platforms
- Proficiency in Canva
- Knowledge of automation platforms
- Understanding of API integrations and webhook configurations
- SEO/AEO: Strong knowledge of search engine and answer engine optimization best practices
Compliance: Understanding of HIPAA, GDPR, and regulatory requirements for digital marketing. Experience working with cookie management tools (TrustArc).
Skills & Competencies
- Demonstrated success in managing multiple digital projects concurrently, delivering quality outcomes on time and on budget
- Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities
- Experience developing and scaling AI-powered workflows in marketing environments
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with experience collaborating across diverse cross-functional teams
- Creative problem-solving abilities and innovation mindset
- Ability to stay current with rapidly evolving AI and digital technologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Project Management (PMP, Agile, Scrum)
- AI/ML certifications or formal training
- Experience with prompt engineering and AI model fine-tuning
- Proven experience managing digital content workflows and process documentation for a global or multi-market environment
- Experience in life sciences or healthcare marketing
Location & Work Environment
- Remote-friendly, with occasional on-site collaboration or meetings at Veracyte's headquarters as needed.
- Must be available for cross-time zone collaboration with our various teams.
The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units. Veracyte is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
