About the role:
We’re looking for a sharp, scrappy, and strategic Sr. Product Marketing Manager to build our product marketing engine from the ground up. You’ll be the first PMM at a high-growth, PLG startup that’s scaling fast – and your fingerprints will be all over how we position, launch, and scale our product.
You won’t just write the narrative – you’ll expand on a strong one already in motion, partnering closely with our founder, product, sales, customer success, and marketing teams to bring consistency, clarity, and power to every touchpoint across the buyer journey. What you’ll own
- Positioning & Messaging: Evolve our core story (already strong, thanks to our founder) and roll it out consistently across our marketing, product, sales decks, and more.
- Sales & CS Enablement: Build the toolkit our teams need to win. Think: battlecards, one-pagers, objection-handling docs, and training materials.
- Product-Led Growth GTM: Partner with our product growth team to support self-serve users with great onboarding, messaging, and in-product clarity.
- Product Launches: Help drive GTM for new features – working cross-functionally to ensure internal teams and customers are in sync.
- Competitive Intelligence: Build a tight, actionable feedback loop that keeps us aware of the market and ahead of the pack.
- Audience Obsession: Deeply understand our users and buyers – what makes them tick, what they struggle with, and how we can help them win.
- Cross-Functional Glue: Collaborate with Product, Sales, CS, and Marketing to align messaging with real customer needs and internal goals.
- Marketing Flexibility: You’re joining a current marketing team of one – so you’re down to flex into writing landing pages, helping with campaign copy, or whatever else is needed to make the machine hum.
In the first 6 months, you’ll:
- Refresh and create consistency of our positioning across the website, sales materials, and product – anchored in voice-of-customer research and competitive insights.
- Partner with product growth to audit and improve our onboarding enablement flows for self-service users.
- Solidify a product marketing roadmap that aligns with product priorities and fuels the marketing campaign calendar.
- Take over ownership of our competitive intel program – starting with battlecards, market analysis, and a lightweight feedback loop.
- Lead one feature GTM from strategy to rollout – crafting the messaging, internal enablement, and launch assets
You might be a fit if:
- You’ve done PMM in a B2B SaaS and/or PLG environment – and love playing at the intersection of product, growth, and go-to-market.
- You can self-start in ambiguity, work cross-functionally, and keep multiple trains moving with minimal direction.
- You’re equal parts creative storyteller and data-driven decision maker.
- You genuinely care about your audience and love helping them win.
- You’re the kind of person who builds the doc before someone asks for it.
- You execute. Period.
Bonus points if you:
- Have worked at an early-stage startup and helped build something from 0 → 1.
- Have experience marketing to sales personas (especially AEs or sales leaders.
- Have supported both PLG and sales-led motions and can flex messaging across segments.
- Have run voice-of-customer research and turned it into compelling copy or positioning.
- Can write landing page copy that converts and internal docs that align.
- Love experimenting with messaging and learning through feedback/data
